About the role

We offer you the opportunity to start as an IoT Software Development Engineer (m/f/d) in Kaufering near Munich with our partner, Hilti Entwicklungsgesellschaft. We will hire you and you will work for our partner on site. Work tasks

  • Build and improve our embedded software products for Hilti's Data Driven Services and Connected Tool Services
  • Develop and integrate the functionality and interfaces of an automated locker and connecting this Linux based controller to our backend system
  • Develop the identified workflows and interfaces with a strong focus on security
  • Define, develop, and integrate the solutions for the automated locker to ensure a seamless customer experience

We are looking for

  • Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, electrical engineering and / or telecommunication
  • At least 2 years’ of experience developing, integrating, and debugging of distributed systems consisting of hardware, embedded software, gateways, cloud services, and web/mobile applications
  • Language: English (C1)
  • Good knowledge and experience in embedded Linux systems and their security concepts
  • Experience in programming (Python, C/C++) and using GitLab (CI/CD) as well as debugging tools (e.g. Jira, Git, Confluence)

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
