About the role

At Numascale, we work with groundbreaking technology used by the largest system integrators in the world. We have delivered the technology behind the world's largest Shared Memory System, which set a world record in performance. We are now looking for someone like you to join our development environment, for the role of Design and Verification Engineer (Hardware). Here, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and international partners on tasks related to specification, development, and implementation. Among other things, you will work on FPGA development and our specialized node controller ASIC, enabling optimal performance in cache-coherent computers with shared memory.

Work tasks

  • You will work on a wide range of tasks including specification, development, and implementation. Technologies you will work with include 3 nm TSMC ASIC, Intel Agilex FPGA, SmartNIC, Compute Express Link 3.0 used for Pooled Memory and Switching, as well as PCIe 6.0, 400/800 Gb Ethernet
  • Module design in RTL using SystemVerilog
  • Verification at both module and system levels using SystemVerilog and UVM
  • The latest communication protocols in the industry
  • Prototyping on FPGAs System architecture and microarchitecture
  • Use of tool suites from Synopsys, Siemens/Mentor, and Cadence

We are looking for

  • You who recently have graduated or has experience with relevant tasks
  • You who have completed a master's degree in relevant fields, with knowledge of ASIC and FPGA design and verification, microelectronics, processor architecture, and/or computer architecture
  • Someone with strong oral and written communication skills in English

We would like you to include transcripts. For recent graduates, strong academic results in relevant subjects and courses are important.
