About the role

Our partner company is seeking additional support and offers you the chance to kick-start your career as a GIS Specialist (m/f/d) in the offshore sector in Hamburg. You will be employed by us and work on-site with the partner's team. This position is initially limited until August 30, 2025. The application process will be managed by Academic Work in collaboration with our partner.

Work tasks

  • Support German and Polish offshore wind projects and prospecting activities with all GIS-related tasks, including project-specific spatial data processing, data management, analysis, and technical specifications for external teams, as well as desktop map production
  • Design, configuration and further development of interactive web applications for offshore projects
  • Take over specific workstreams within the enterprise`s system administration group
  • Integrate geographic, survey, title, infrastructure and other data into powerful visual representations for information and decision making purposes

We are looking for

  • You have experience in supporting offshore wind projects, specifically in GIS-related activities such as spatial data processing, data management, and analysis
  • You have expertise in designing, configuring, and developing interactive web applications tailored to project-specific customer requirements
  • You have knowledge in managing specific workstreams within an enterprise system administration group
  • You hold the the ability to integrate various types of data into effective visual representations to facilitate information and decision-making processes
  • You bring a strong background in ESRI products, including ArcMap 10.x, ArcPro, and Portal
